Hello friends!
Welcome to a special challenge blog hop hosted by Altenew!
This ultimate hop is organized by Altenew Stamps (specifically by the talented and amazing May). This special event is a major joint effort from a few favorites challenges in blog land. I am sure you have already heard of some of them (if not all of them). We hope to spread the love of taking part in card-making challenge blogs. Isn't that cool?
If you are hopping from Altenew Blog, you are in the right place. If not, come on now and join the hop. Since our current challenge theme is "Spray, Mist & Splatter", I had to go with that direction and use my new favorite Altenew Stamps for today's projects.
I created two cards with the same layout, but each has a different embossing powder and watercolors. I am a huge fan of Altenew products. This particular stamp set Botanical Garden caught my eyes because it has exquisite hand-painted outlines. Whether you color the images or leave them uncolored, you get this ethereal feel from the beautiful stamped images. The stamp set is easy and fun to use regardless of your stamping level.
Card #1
The subtle Antique Gold Embossing Powder is ideal for embossing refined images.
Card #2
With the help of MISTI, I can position all my stamps in one shot and emboss as many times as I like. I took the same approach in my 2nd card with the Wow Mint Macaroon Embossing Powder.

Obviously, the cards will not look so artsy and unique without all that splatter. This can be easily done with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor (32). The color choices are excellent and allow you to mix and match. I had a blast creating these two cards.

I hope that my projects inspire you to try "Spray, Mist & Splatter"!
