Hello friends!
It gives me great pleasure to introduce you our first guest designer for this challenge.
She needs no introductions, seriously.
Laura Bassen is pretty much a household name in stamping world. Her color palette and style are so pleasing to the eyes and her seemingly easy designs (trust me, they are never easy!) makes you think you can do it, too! One of our panel judges Stephanie said that Laura's cards possess that cool and gorgeous "J. Crew" style. I call Laura's style "easy breezy beautiful".

We all love her vibrant stamping. You can see her class over Craftsy here (a good deal!!).
Laura's warmth and talent really come through in all of her You Tube channel here.

Laura's take on Geometric Patterns....
Laura: To create my card I ran the Chevron Pattern Full Card die through several
different colors of card stock. Then I took one of the positive cuts and
temporarily adhered it to a front panel. Using foam tape I adhered the colored
pieces to fit inside each opening on the die cut, rainbow order, of course! For
the sentiment, I used the Painted Hello die with some gold metallic card stock
and popped it up with foam tape as well.
Additional inks (not listed below): Hibiscus Burst, Lemon Tart, Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse, Aqua Mist, Tropical Teal (Papertrey Ink)
Laura created this beauty and gave me her all during this busy summer month of August. Laura is truly an awesome friend that I cherished the time I spent with her in Chicago. Please head over to Laura's blog and be prepared to be WOWED.
You are the best, Laura!
