Top 50 Blogs!

Hello friends!
A HUGE thank-you for entering our last two-month challenge--Layers and Dimensions.
With a whopping 534 entries (!!!), as you can imagine, there are a ton of blogs to sift through. I must say that you have really ACED the challenge!
Since it is a two-month challenge, I thought, instead of doing a Wrap-up post that I normally do, it would be fun to highlight the work of 50 bloggers.

These gorgeous and beautifully crafted entries are worth checking out. However, They do not entirely represent our Top 10 Favorites. Our panel judges are selecting from all 534 entries! Please do not fret if you do not see your blog on this list. AND there will be two winners from this challenge (one from Top 10 Favorites, one random winner from all entries).

I am super excited about our upcoming monthly challenge in June!
Please don't forget to enter my Craftsy Card Class Giveaway (details here).

Please come back on the 25th for our Spotlight Feature. Till then, thank you for stopping by!

A Craftsy Card Class Giveaway!

Dear Virginia's View Challenge friends:
I am popping in to thank you for the AWESOME entries that you have been linking up in the last two months. The overwhelming popularity of this challenge blog truly humbles and amazes me! I had a longer break to reflect on the upcoming challenge themes and took some time to re-energize. This two-month challenge truly gave me a good break. Your support and enthusiasm have not waned  despite the length of challenge. For that, I am very grateful...

AND that is why I am offering you a FREE Craftsy Class of your choice (a  $20 value)!

You can still link up your cards/entries in this post (or simply scroll down to the previous post with Joni as our guest designer) before the 18th.  If you do sign up a Craftsy Class today and later win this giveaway, I will reimburse you the class fee or offer a $20 Simon Says Stamp Gift Card instead. Please know that I am doing this out of my own pocket money. I simply want to thank you.

These are my favorite classes:
and our guest designer Danielle Flander's Cards with Dimensions

Once you have a Craftsy account, you can take these classes for FREE:
Create Stunning Birthday Cards (a FREE mini class!) (w/ Kimberly McGray)
Spectacular Stamping with Joy Macdonell

EDITED: There is only one requirements for this giveaway:
1. Sign up for a Craftsy account: simply click on any of the banner. You can use your Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest account to sign up. It is very easy to do and there is no cost to sign up unless you are taking a class (of course).

The giveaway deadline is on the 23rd. The random winner will be announced on the 25th in our usual Spotlight Feature. One entry per person please. Please feel free to tell your friends to enter.

Thank you and good luck!

Guest Designer--Joni Andaya

 Hello friends!
It is my pleasure to introduce you to our next guest designer for this Layers and Dimensions Challenge. You may have seen her beautiful work all over blogsphere already.... Please welcome Joni Andaya

I got to know Joni through my previous DT work. Joni designs for Wplus 9, Winnie & Walter and Pretty Pink Posh. Joni's work always wow me with her incredible details and vibrant colors. Her crazy good skills propel her to be a much sought-after stamper/designer.  Let's get started, shall we?

Joni: Hello Everyone, I am honored to be here Guest Designing with Lovely Virginia :) The Challenge for this month is all about layers and dimensions. For my project I used Winnie & Walter Essentials: Audrey Cutaways and started layering it with the ginormous "hi" from In a Word: Hi Cutaways

Joni: To begin, I first die-cut the largest frame from the Essentials: Audrey Cutaways  and watercolored it. Then die-cut the big "hi" and watercolored some more; lots of playing on how to make my flower look like flowers. If you have not tried watercoloring yet, you've got to give it a go, because its really relaxing and there's no wrong way to do it; its up to you how you want your image or images to look like :) plus its just plain fun.

Joni: I then die-cut 4 more "hi"s and adhered them on top of each other to create dimension on my card. Next, I added some vellum flowers that have been heat embossed in gold; then fussy cut using the flower images that I designed for Winnie & Walter In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet.

To finish off the card I added a strip of dark grey cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment "beautiful" from The Big, the Bold and Friends.

Joni: I hope you guys enjoyed!
Thank you so much for stopping by :)

How about that!? Joni's work is so inspiring. She layered the elements with vibrant colors, stamped images, vellum and embossed... it's a treat to see! Please stop by Joni's blog and leave her some love.
Lastly, I want to tell you that your entries have been so amazing! I can't even think about picking Top 10 Favorites because we have well over 400 entries (crazy, huh?). Thank YOU!
