Virginia's View Challenge #11 (Clean Slate)

Happy New Year!
The new challenge is here! Let's start with a clean slate...
We are talking about the new challenge, right? You are absolutely right. This month's theme is giving you a chance to start everything fresh. That means we would like you to embrace the following theme, skills, techniques and style.

Starting anew, with a fresh approach. A clean slate begins with the action of 'wiping the slate clean'.

What does clean slate mean in this challenge? Please create any of the following:

~card design with a lot of white space
~one layer ( no layers; you can add embellishments, such as sequins, twines, ribbons..etc)
~masking technique
~white on white (ex. white card stock with white textured/stamped designs)
~layered stamping
~anything that involves WHITE

I am kicking off the challenge with a simple one layer card.
you are awesome
This card may be one layer, but it has a combination of techniques in masking and layered stamping. It also has a bit of texture (thanks to the gold embossing and added twine). My 2nd card is all about masking and layered stamping.
thank you
I applied Perfect Pearl mixture to add pizzazz. With a few small gems, this card is done!
wishing you happiness
A white card doesn't have to be boring. You can incorporate dies, vellum, embellishments and metallic elements to make your design SHINE! What do you think? Hope you get creative with this challenge. I can't wait to see what you create! As usual, I have a few talented guest designers to share their projects with you in the next few days. You will be inspired!

This monthly card-making challenge blog will run till the 18th (11:55pm Eastern Time) and there will be a SPOTLIGHT feature of Top 10 Favorites on the 25th. Any style and all levels are most welcome! You can read more about the challenge guidelines at the bottom of the page.

Among the Top 10 Fav, there will be a random draw for a lucky (and talented) winner who will then receive the top prize. In order to qualify for the top prize, your project has to be NEW (not linked back to a previously made project). You are welcome to combine other challenges, but please limit your total number of challenges to no more than 4.

Our Sponsor: Simon Says Stamp
Thank you, Simon Says Stamp!!

Our Top Winner (randomly selected from Top 10 Favorites) will receive a $25 voucher!
  AWESOME, eh?!

Hope you are up for the challenge!

Looking very forward to giving this challenge a try - I am not very good at leaving white space so it will be a stretch but that's good isn't it?!? Thanks for all you do and for being the host of this great challenge blog!!!
